We discuss the formal education developed by and for the countryside subjects.It is a very challenging task among the current educational scenarios.These reflections emerged from a bibliographical review of the actors and social authors of peasant education, an effort that considers the actual living of Kits rural communities as part itself of the pedagogical construction in the countryside.This study addresses some of the shared achievements of Manoel Ribas municipality managers and rural communities, related to the practices of local peasant education as a social construction that has allowed significant advances in educational access devoted to rural learners.The debate here proposed showed that even though some deficiencies Drum Sticks in offering this educational modality, there are several social gains that have mobilized the peasants about their role as agent of transformation and builders of their own destiny.
